I didn’t realize how cold its already become in the Bay Area, until my old furnace went out last week. The HVAC company ordered a new one and is working on replacing, but in the meantime, I’m running a few very inefficient space heaters. I have a feeling the energy bill is going to be through the roof this month! So what do you do if you live in an older home like mine and don’t have all the built in efficiency of newer homes?
